Yesterday, I listed the top 50 websites in the United States. Number 7 on that list was YouTube.com, whose visitor traffic is up a whopping 109% for the year.

Earlier today they released, for the first time, the most popular videos on their website for 2009. Very interesting.

Of course, the Susan Boyle phenomenon was easily the most watched video with an unbelievable 120 million views. Who would have thunk it???

The one that caught my eye was the Pitbull video with 82,000,000 views, the second most popular video on YouTube.  The first time I ever heard Pitbull’s smash hit “I Know You Want Me”, I was sitting in a Mexican restaurant in Asbury Park, NJ stuffing my face with some great food and immediately loved the song. It’s funny how you remember stuff like that.
